On Wednesday, 28 June 2023, The Pink Room Foundation arrived at Malacca Informal Settlement in Redhill, Durban with a trunk full of grocery hampers and blankets as part of our Grocery Hamper and Blanket Drives respectively. This community outreach initiative came after the residents of Malacca were affected by a horrific fire that destroyed the homes of many. The grocery hampers and blankets were distributed amongst 100 families; all of whom expressed their utmost gratitude upon receiving their parcels. In addition, each person also received 2 sandwiches for lunch. The day was filled with excitement and laughter as everyone eagerly awaited their much needed gifts. The Pink Room Foundation would like to thank each of our generous sponsors and volunteers for their contributions in making the day a success.
